We offer a range of bespoke and off-the-shelf campervan conversions for Mazda Bongos, VW T5s and similar vans such as Boxer, Transit and Relay. We expertly fit a range of our own conversions, roofs, windows, leisure batteries, electric hook-ups, lining and flooring to name but a few. Our exclusive, hand-crafted conversions start at £865 for our portable units, to an unbeatable £1,995 for our new low cost Crafty Camper conversion (available in 2012) to £3,950 for our full Deluxe side conversion.

Our unique portable rear conversions can be easily added or removed to any van or camper allowing you to instantly turn your vehicle into a camper - and vice versa. With special fittings, they can be attached to the rear wheelarch or central area of any Mazda Bongo - or fitted by bolts or screws to any van, such as a Transit or Ducato - so optimising the use and versatility of your van. One minute a people carrier or van - the next a camper with fridge, cooker, sink, hook-up and storage space. And all for under £950.

As well as being portable, this position can accomodate a portable table and bed platform, thereby providing eating and sleeping facilities. For Bongos with rear sliding seats this is ideal and a inexpensive way of converting your van while still keeping it unique versatility.

Rear wheel-arch unit
For fitting either side of split rear and sliding rear seat models. Sleeps 4. These units not only utilise space well, allowing more room to eat, cook and stand, there is also no need to remove seating or lose sleeping spaces. In Bongos, to free the lower double bed simply remove the kitchen to the awning or outside, covering it with our optional rain-proof cover.

Our portable units consist of a kitchen unit with double burner SMEV gas cooker, fully automated SMEV sink, taps and water bottles, cupboards, worktop, electric coolbox, AC hookup and sockets, DC sockets and optional pull-out table and fridges.

Alternatively, remove the rear bench to increase leg and living space. With Campers Scotland's unique fold-away table and bed platform design, you can create a 3/4 bed using the table as an extension to the folded rear seats (see bottom right in the images immediately above).

We are the only workshop to use genuine veneered plywood (eg cherry and beech) with a range of finishes (Danish oil, varnish or French polish to name a few). We use only the best appliances, with SMEV stoves and sinks, Royal and Dometic fridges and Comet water pumps.

Our half conversion units can be fitted to any van or camper. Provided there is sufficient space, the unit can be fitted to the rear of the van (as above), over the wheel arches or behind the front seatsdriver/passenger. Vans we have fitted include Boxer, Relay, Transit, Trafic, Vivaro, Hiace, Vito and Movano. Price is the same for any van. Extras include leisure battery, battery housing and extended worktop.


Full side conversions (Mazda Bongo and VW T5)

We supply and fit two of the most popular vans around - the Mazda Bongo and the VW Transporter T5. We offer two hi-quality conversion types - the standard and deluxe models, and two types of roof for the VW - a hi-top and elevating roof option. We design and fit our own conversions in our own workshop fitted to the highest standards, best materials and market-leading appliances. No-one can beat us on price and our outstanding quality.

All our vans are built to spec and to individual budgets, with each owner in mind - fitting optional extras such as ovens, grill, showers, longer beds, Flat-screen TVs and much more.

Deluxe side conversion
Our deluxe conversions come with £1500 worth of extras such as - fitted water tank with external filler cap, fitted dual-power fridge (Dometic RM122), overhead storage units with detachable spotlights, electric hook-up and chrome steel double AC plug sockets, leisure battery, portable dining table and fire extinguisher.

Extras such as grill, flush cooker, voltage meters, awnings. fitted windows, roofs, coach velour lining and much more are available at extra cost.
